Parking

Ask any Boulder realtor or other local and they’ll confirm the fact that parking at Eldora is a whole thing! It’s a popular spot, but parking is limited. If you’re able to get a few runs in on a weekday, parking is usually no problem. Weekends, holidays, and after fresh snow? That’s a different story. Getting to the resort early is your best bet for finding a parking spot. But know that you’ll risk getting stuck in a line of cars waiting for “one-out-one-in”.

Carpoolers have a higher chance of snagging a parking spot. There is an HOA parking zone for cars with 3 or more people. On the flip side, as part of the Sustainable Transportation Program, single-occupancy vehicles will be subject to a $10 fee. These funds are invested in a shuttle system. The shuttle is the best option for adventurers who don’t want to wait in line (and value reducing fuel emissions!)

Shuttles depart from The Boulder County Justice Center Parking Lot at 1777 6th street. The shuttle will take you up to Eldora. Departure times are:

  • 7:00 AM
  • 9:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM

Just be sure not to miss your ride back downtown. Departures from Eldora back to the Justice Center are:

  • 1:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM
