Top Honors Go To Local Longmont and Boulder CO Brewers

Out of over 700 contestants, our good ol’ local brewers took home three gold and two bronze medals from the Great American Beer Festival.  All heavy weights in the local craft beer scene, these three established  brewers proved they are still relevant amid all the hip new beer upstarts in the county.

Left Hand Brewing took home three gold medals  for  its Sawtooth Ale, Oatmeal Stout, and Milk Stout, bringing their lifetime achievement to 22 medals.

Boulder’s Twisted Pine Brewery also took home a bronze medal for its West Bound Braggot honey beer, bringing their lifetime acheivement to 18 medals.

Avery Brewing of Boulder also took home a bronze medal for their fruit wheat beer, Lilikoi Kepolo.  Avery has big plans on the horizon.  They will be breaking ground on a new facility in Gunbarrel later this year.
