Colorado adventure also offers other adventure opportunities. You can rent snowshoes for $25/ day or rent fat-tire bikes for $20/ hour. Similar to snow tubing, both of these activities require no real skill. You could easily plan a fun day to tube for an hour, bike for an hour, then finish the day with a lovely snowshoe walk through the snowy forest.

Is snow tubing really that different from sledding?

Yes! Snow tubes are more aerodynamic (AKA faster!) then sleds. Sleds are easier to steer than tubes. But that’s ok! Because most Colorado tubing hills have lanes expertly made snowdrifts. So there’s no risk of crashing into your tubing neighbor. Snow hills are designed to maximize safe speed. For this reason, it should come as no surprise that snow tubing is a super fun winter activity. Our Boulder realtor team wants you to stay safe and have fun out there! And don’t forget to bundle up. You’ll be mixing wind speed with cold mountain air. There’s no shame in bundling up like that kid from A Christmas Story.
