Parking

Eldora parking is a whole thing. It’s a popular spot, but parking is limited. Although there is exciting news for the 2022-2023 season- Eldora has officially expanded their parking lots! Although Boulder County is requiring that they implement parking fees now.

If you can get a few runs in on a weekday, parking is usually no problem. Weekends, holidays, and after fresh snow? That’s a different story. Despite the expanded parking, getting to the resort early is your best bet for finding a parking spot. But know that you’ll risk getting stuck in a line of cars waiting for “one-out-one-in”.

Carpoolers have a higher chance of snagging a parking spot. There is an HOA parking zone for cars with 3 or more people. On the flip side, as part of the Sustainable Transportation Program, single-occupancy vehicles will be subject to a $10 fee. These funds are invested in a shuttle system. The shuttle is the best option for adventurers who don’t want to wait in line (and value reducing fuel emissions!)

Shuttles depart from Downtown Boulder Station at 1800 14th street. Parking here is free. The shuttle will take you up to Eldora. Departure times are:

  • 7:00 AM
  • 9:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM

Just be sure not to miss your ride back downtown. Departures from Eldora back to the Justice Center are:

  • 1:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM
