The Museum of Boulder will soon have a new home.
It is moving from its Euclid location to a larger building at the old Masonic Lodge at Pine and Broadway.
Its new home is four times bigger and is accessible to Pearl Street visitors. That means, the scope is much broader than ever before.
The leaders of the museum hope that it will become one of the city’s premier downtown attractions once they open in their new site in mid-to-late 2017.
“We’re really looking at Boulder past, present and future now,” said Geyer. “Our early history is fascinating, with the Native Americans’ story and the discovery of gold here, and that kind of era in our history. We really want to tell the story from the early years, but also to get people thinking about where we are today and where we’re going in the future.”
